ben and i hosted our CSer friends on saturday. well, let me back up. first we had to present at the mcla leadership conference. our presentation was entitled, "captain kirk and blamb: how to be as rad as us". yeah, maybe it was a little self-indulgent but there was actual substance in it. a few alums came and sat it, offered some sound advice for the kids, and our friend dave-o liked it so much he's stealing it to use for his WPI students. it was really nice to see some alums i haven't since they (or me) graduated.
ok back to the ho-down party. ben and i decided to have a winter bbq before heading to MOCA for the honky tonk dance party. we had collard greens, pasta and potato salads, hotdogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, a potao onion dish thanks to brandon, homeade bread, and a french cake that was magnificant thanks to miss sophie. we danced our asses off at the show. invited the band back and they actaully called when i did not hear my phone, so unfortuantly i didn't get the message until the next morning. we drank and ate and boogied. i love my CSers so much, and am so happy they stormed into my life.
yesterday ben and i looked at a plausible apartment, but its lay-out was super wierd and they wanted us to sign these narc forms, so we are stomping a big NO on that place. also, with ben most likely moving in the summer, does it really make sense to move? speaking of that, i really don't want ben to move. i've been extremely happy since he's moved in.
